Featherstone Castle is a grade 1 listed castle dating back to 1348 and is situated on the banks of the South Tyne River just 3.5 miles from Haltwhistle. It is ideally suited for schools, colleges, community and family groups. Self-catering hostel-style dormitory and family rooms. Stunning dark skies for stargazing. Stable Yard Cottage, in the grounds of the castle, is self-catering and sleeps six, with two fishing licences available to use on the South Tyne as part of your stay (two nights minimum) and up to two dogs welcome.
